Anyone who lives in the Northamptonshire area should really try to get along to some of the events taking place at The Fishmarket. Music, comedy, workshops and exhibitions all given a funky new twist, but not skimping on talent or quality.

Oh, and let's not forget the Sunday Art Markets, where yours truly has a pitch!

Lovely Small Things

These are a few of the magnets I have been making for the art stall. They are lovely, chunky ceramic tiles.

Ok, when I said I wanted a room of my own, that didn't mean that I was totally averse to having the odd visitor pop in now and then!

The Sunday Art market in Northampton was great fun. I've booked for the next two months, so I need to get going on making stuff! However, I'm in a bit of an arty slump at the moment; I'm very tired of the whole vintage image thing; (for me anyway, still enjoy seeing everyone else's) Not sure what direction to take. I'd like to get back to some good, old-fashioned drawing again. I haven't done it in so long, that I think I've lost my touch, but, as with most things, practice makes for improvement, if not perfection!
