The Eleventh Hour!

I have been a little unwell recently. I was rushed into hospital with a suspected mini-stroke and had to stay in for a week. Glad to say, I am now home and making a good recovery.

However, this left me very little time to arrange christmas stuff and even less time to work on my submission piece for Seth's book. Details here.

My piece involved doing a photo shoot with my children, Kitty and Nico and today was my last chance, but the weather couldn't have been more perfect.

These are some of the extra shots I took of them against the beautiful, wintry backdrop of Boughton estate.

Kitty needed no encouragement to get in front of the camera, especially when I said she could wear my original victorian petticoat. Nico, on the other hand, had to be bribed with £5, but it was worth it for such beautiful photographs.

  1. Stunning photos Jo! You really did an amazing job. They look like you paid a fortune for a professional photographer to take them.

It's almost unbelievable what you've been through considering your age and all. So scary and thank goodness you are OK.

Hope you are putting yourself at the top of the list of things to take care of!

    Happy Holidays

  3. How weird - I thought i commented on these photos?? Oh wait! It must have been on Facebook! Lol. Well, I'm so glad you are on the improve Jo. Geesus but you gave us a scare there! I wonder if we're all getting to that age now where you just can no longer take your health for granted. Ha! I would have thought late 50s was the time for that, but obviously not.
