Thou Art Thy Mother's Glass......

Thou art thy mother's glass and she, in thee, calls back the lovely April of her prime.

I finally managed to finish my mum's christmas present in time. Just!  It didn't turn out quite as I wanted it too, because I hadn't left myself enough time. That's something I'll remember in future. However, mum loved it; it made her cry. Mission accomplished!

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday.

  1. I love it, too! Such a gorgeous present!

Merry Christmas Jo! And thanks for your nice words ;-)

By the way, I bought Rainey´s White Rabbit painting.... It´s hanging in our living room now! And I have to thank you for that as I found Rainey through you!

    Take care, Kirsten

  2. awww I love it when you get tears for a thank you!!!

  3. The best ever reception to one's art! It is always heartfelt and true! Lovely piece Jo made all the more special as it involves loved ones both in the piece and the giving. True Christmas spirit! Hugs for a fabulous festive season, hope it ws a blast!

  4. Thank you for the kind comments. Next year, every one's presents will be homemade. (Except the childrens; even I'm not brave enough for that. Mercenary little devils!)

Kirsten, I'm so pleased you bought one of Rainey's paintings, it couldn't have gone to a better home.

  5. Hi Jo! Thanks so much for your comment! Today is much better :). Your mom is very lucky to receive such a lovely gift! Happy Holidays!
